About Bodylogic Integrative Physical Therapies
Meet Phil Rolfe, PT, DPT, ATC
Active listener who facilitates healing & improves your daily function
Bodylogic Integrative Physical Therapy was founded in 2017 with the basic understanding that
people do better when they are heard, seen, and then provided with gentle, intelligent guidance toward their healing.
You are my only concern, and you are so much more than a number in my day.
If you are in pain, we need to look closely at all influences. I have training in pain neuroscience education and will work to help you understand how pain works in your body.
If you are weak, we need to find safe movements to help you regain your capacities. I use multiple approaches to strengthening, including Pilates principles.
If you have joint restrictions, I can help you recover your joint mobility. I use muscle energy techniques, manipulation, and unique mobilization techniques.
If you have soft tissue restrictions, I can help you recover a normal soft-tissue feel. I use hands-on tissue release techniques to allow for more tissue comfort along with dry needling, graston techniques, etc.
If you have had surgery, I can help you safely regain your function. I use all of the techniques listed above to address your soft tissue, joint mobility, strength, and pain. I have 25 years of experience with orthopedic surgeries, specifically joint replacements, shoulder and knee ligamentous / tendon reconstructions.
Support.
Understanding.
Care plans that center you.
For many years, I practiced in the traditional setting of Physical Therapy, which was volume-driven and not patient-focused.
In my practice of Physical Therapy, I will not compromise on care. I work one-to-one, giving you my undivided attention, and that will never change.
I will take the time and work hard to find solutions to your issues. I will take the time to listen to you and your unique situation, and I will help you find a way to maintain the gains you have make.
I love the progressive nature of the field of PT and take every opportunity to learn.
My first Physical Therapy degree was attained 1999; and in 2015 I completed a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)to provide my patients with the most up-to-date treatment possible. I also have a degree in Athletic Training (ATC), and have completed a Pilates program, which gives me a wide-angle lens to help you reach your goals. From relief of acute or chronic conditions to ways to finding ways to maintain the gains that we make during your care, I have a wide range of knowledge and experience to help you regain your best life.
